We have today sent out the 48hr notification that we will be charging cards for your last mile shipping and extra purchases.

Backerkit will also send out an email with notice, and then cards will be charged later this week. Please check your details are up to date and correct.

If there are any issues then Backerkit will send out an email to let you know so you can fix them. Don't panic as there is sufficient time in the schedule for everyone to sort out issues and it won't delay your pledge arriving with you!

We are charging your cards now because we have a better idea of the timeline and we are now able to start to plan and book in the "last mile" fulfilment with our warehouses.

What happens next?

We will be locking addresses in early to mid October. Again we will give you plenty of notice for this (but its always worth checking everything is as you would want it now!) and we are doing this now so that we can share the data with our warehouses and plan in the project last mile shipping.

Hello Cyberpunk Edgerunners!

Following on from our last update we will be locking orders this week. We will send out the 48hr notification to prompt you to check your pledges and make sure everything is how you would want it.

Once this is done we will be charging cards at the start of next week, again with 48 hour notice prompt.

The factory have confirmed they will finish printing on October 18, and we expect it will take about 2 weeks to get everything packed and palletised after this time so we can get onto ships and get underway!

We are really excited that the end of printing is in sight and then the maps will begin their journey to your tables!!

We have a new project live on Backerkit which we wanted to draw to your attention. We are, of course, still hard at work on the Cyberpunk set, but as we near the end of manufacture we are able to launch our next project without any impact to that timeline!

We are delighted to update that we are planning for a factory completion date in October. This is allowing us to begin work on our shipping plans and schedules!

We are really happy with how everything is looking, and delighted that all the reviewing we did with the factory has come together so well.

As you can see from the pictures we still need to finish the prints (cut, laminate etc), complete assembly, pack and pallet which will keep the factory busy for the next few weeks!

And then we are planning on getting everything onto ships at the end of October.

The main challenges we face here are slow shipping pretty much everywhere currently, with UK shipments still having to go the long way around Africa and delays hitting US shipping all adding up, we expect it to take 8-10 weeks to go from factory to warehouses (which is compared to the 6 weeks it used to take).

We will be fulfilling The US backers from our usual warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. The UK, EU and rest of world will be handled by our UK warehouse. 

Now that we have a completion date and are starting the planning process with our warehouses we will be locking orders and charging your cards.

Please can you review your orders to ensure everything is correct and address details are still current. I will give everyone the 48 hour reminder email before I lock orders & addresses.

Hello and and thank you for your continued patience.

I wanted to reach out to share where we are and how we are dealing with the current tariff situation. It has been a challenging year so far, and we are frustrated at the delay to this project and are working to get you your physical rewards as soon as we can.

There is currently a 90 day "pause" in US/CN Tariffs, and the situation (at time of writing) appears to be calming down. However we are left with a 30% tariff for all goods into the US from China, and the future situation is difficult to predict. Tariffs, traditionally speaking, are applied when the BoL (Bill of Lading) is dated, i.e. when the stock goes on the ship. However the current situation is as unusual as it is unpredictable in that we are hearing tariffs may be calculated based on the rate when the goods are cleared into the US, which would lead to a fair bit of uncertainty. There are also a few legal challenges which may or may not improve/change the tariff landscape.

In conclusion there will be higher costs and greater uncertainty getting stock into the US, and this is likely to remain for at least the rest of the year and probably beyond.

We are also seeing increases in shipping prices and delays getting stock onto ships given the spike in demand the pause has caused. It has also caused a spike in manufacturing in China which is causing us a few headaches.

We have made the decision to press on with manufacture now and (assuming there are no further developments) ship ASAP. The headline date for backers is that we hope to realistically have you your rewards in late November. This is later than we had hoped, and here is why. Our factory is currently very busy and while we are in the queue there are a lot of people trying to get stock made and moving in time for Christmas and our factory is struggling to meet the demand, additionally we are having some issues sourcing materials for the same reason. When the time comes we have to allow 3 months for shipping factory to warehouse (uk/eu still cannot use the Suez canal and has to go round the cape of Africa, and US ports are predicted to be busy).

In order to thank you for your ongoing patience we have put together some digital maps combining the tile maps in the Cyberpunk set, which we have included in a bundle of map titles, a code for which should be on its way via email to you now. As before the link will add the title(s) to your DrivethruRPG library.
